UFL Week 9 Picks & Parlays 2025

UFL Week 9 Picks & Parlays 2025

Unfortunately, the postseason is set. This makes handicapping games for next two weeks a little trickier. Home-field advantage is wrapped up because of scheduling conflicts, and we know which four teams will make it. Will any of those teams rest starters yet? Let’s keep it going and take a look at my top UFL Week 9 picks, props, and parlay!

UFL Week 9 Picks & Parlay!

San Antonio Brahmas @ St. Louis Battlehawks (-6.5 on DraftKings)

When and where to watch: May 23rd at 8:00 PM Eastern on FOX

This game was supposed to be played in San Antonio, but is now in the Battle Dome due to a scheduling conflict with San Antonio’s stadium. How this keeps happening to the UFL is beyond me. It’s a bad look for the league and the professionalism behind it. However, the game will still be played, so we at least have that to be thankful for.

The Battlehawks have already made the playoffs, and even if they don’t finish with a better record than the Defenders, the game will be in the Battle Dome. More scheduling conflicts. The Brahmas, on the other hand, only have pride to play for. To be honest, it’s hard to tell if they have that. Their best player, Anthony McFarland, remains sidelined. Their top wide-out, Jontre Kirklin, also has had a bad case of the drops.

These Friday night games have been ugly, though. The last time a favorite covered on a Friday night game was back in Week 4. In fact, Week 1 and Week 4 are the only times a favorite has won and covered this year. It’s against my better judgment to pick the Brahmas, especially with them starting Kellen Mond again. However, perhaps he can come in and give a little boost to this team. The Battlehawks have nothing to play for, so I’m not sure what their motivation level will be like.

UFL Week 9 picks: Brahmas (+6.5), Under 42.5, Jashaun Corbin Anytime Touchdown (ATD) +125.

Arlington Renegades (-5.5 on FanDuel) @ Memphis Showboats

When and where to watch: May 24th at 12:00 PM Eastern on ABC

In another game where nothing matters, the Renegades find themselves as 5.5-point favorites. This number was 3.5 just a few days ago, but early bettors kept picking Arlington. It’s hard to blame them. Luis Perez made a critical mistake last week when he could have spiked the ball and sent the game into overtime with a field goal. Instead, he audibiled and did a fake spike, just to throw an interception.

The Showboats ended up winning last week, even though their quarterback, Troy Williams, only threw for 36 total passing yards. You read that right, 36 total passing yards. Their defense did play well. However, their offense was pretty abysmal, and I think the Renegades have the defense to stop them. They also have head coach Bob Stoops, who is a veteran football coach.

The Renegades have to be feeling a certain sort of way after their season. The “King of Spring” may have gotten ahead of himself with his book and labeling himself. Mr. .500 seems more accurate in my opinion. However, to get to .500, he’s going to have to win this game, and I think they win it easily. He owes it to his team to show out after last week’s mistake.

UFL Week 9 picks: Renegades (-5.5), Luis Perez Over 174.5 passing yards (-145)

Michigan Panthers @ Birmingham Stallions (-2.5 on DraftKings)

When and where to watch: May 24th at 3:00 PM Eastern on ABC

This game could have been the game of the week. This game could have been a battle between two of the best teams to fight for first place in the USFL division and to win home-field advantage. It’s not, though, because the Panthers’ stadium is booked for the playoffs.

How this has happened two years in a row is beyond me. However, regardless of how the teams finish in the next two weeks here the playoff game will be played in Birmingham. It’s tough seeing who will have motivation and why.

I know this is a Spring League, meaning these players are always playing for the next job. That could be especially true for a guy like Danny Etling, who was the starter, then co-starter, then second string. Last week he came in and looked pretty good. However, he’ll face a much better defense this week. Their other quarterback, MVP candidate Bryce Perkins, will be out due to an injury.

The Stallions can’t let up, however. They haven’t been as consistent as most years, and I think Skip Holtz will want them firing on all cylinders going into the playoffs. They haven’t had any time to get consistency, given that they’ve had to play five different quarterbacks. It’s possible J’Mar Smith will finish out the season as their starter, however, he’s fresh off retirement and needs to keep getting some more game reps.

The main focal point of betting on this game for me is that the Stallions have never lost two games in a row. I don’t expect that to change this year.

UFL Week 9 picks: Stallions (-2.5), Toa Taua OVER 47.5 rushing yards (-118)

DC Defenders (-3.5 on FanDuel) @ Houston Roughnecks

When and where to watch: May 25th at 4:00 PM Eastern on FOX

The last game on the slate sees the DC Defenders face off against the Houston Roughnecks. DC is another team that can finish out the season winning or losing out and it won’t change the playoffs for them. Their stadium is booked for a non-televised soccer game so they’ll have to hit the road to the Battle Dome either way.

The Roughnecks are an interesting team. Had they started Jalen McClendon and Zaquandre White from the very beginning, and the defense been playing at this level, they’d be competing for the playoffs. However, they didn’t.

DC’s defense has been giving up a lot of yards recently, and Houston just put up 441 yards on the Stallions. I think the Defenders will have time defending these Roughnecks. Again, DC should have little motivation in this game. The players were unhappy to learn about the stadium, and it may prove to be too much of a distraction.

UFL Week 9 picks: Roughnecks +3.5, McClendon over 189.5 passing yards (-118)

UFL Week 9 Parlay

Every week, I’ll throw a parlay together of the picks I feel are the best. We missed last week’s, however, we’ll hit this week. This is also great as a round-robin parlay! Let’s hit it!

Battlehawks & Brahmas UNDER 42.5
Renegades ML (-210)
Stallions (-130)
Roughnecks (+155)

Payout: +1145
