UFL Week 8 Picks & Parlays 2025

The postseason is getting closer, and we’re starting to see who will make the playoffs. However, there’s still some teams with something to fight for, which can help us when betting. Let’s keep it going and take a look at my top UFL Week 8 picks, props, and parlay!

UFL Week 8 Picks & Parlay!

Memphis Showboats @ San Antonio Brahmas (-1.5)

When and where to watch: May 16th at 8:00 PM Eastern on FOX

The two worst teams in the league face off on Friday night. The Friday night games have primarily been a bit of a stinker. Does that change when we have two stinker teams? The Brahmas looked much improved last week against the Defenders. The Showboats, on the other hand, looked lackadaisical.

Kevin Hogan has started to find his rhythm for the Brahmas as their starting quarterback. He hooked up with wide receiver Jontre Kirklin six times last week. On the other hand, Dresser Winn has also played well for the ‘Boats since taking over. However, the talent around him is limited.

We aren’t going to overthink this one. While they’re both bad teams, one has been playing better than the other. Though, if I’m being honest, this is the game I’m LEAST confident about.

UFL Week 8 picks: Brahmas (-1.5). Prop pick: Jontre Kirklin OVER 3.5 Catches (+107)

Michigan Panthers (-6.5) @ Houston Roughnecks

When and where to watch: May 17th at 1:00 PM Eastern on FOX

The Michigan Panthers haven’t locked up the playoffs yet. The team that is keeping them from locking up the playoffs is the Houston Roughnecks. The Roughnecks and Panthers play each other twice over the next three weeks.

The Panthers have been one of the most dominant teams, even though they had to play from behind last week. They still found a way to win, although it may have been some help from Dean Blandino. Regardless, they’re a dominant team, and Bryce Perkins is making a great case to be the MVP of the league.

The Roughnecks have been playing much better lately. Since Jalen McClendon took over, they’re 2-1. They’d be 3-0 if they hadn’t had an epic collapse against the Stallions last week. They were up 25-6 at halftime and managed to lose 33-25.

Either way, this team has been playing much better and playing games close. This game means a lot to both teams, so it should be really good. The Roughnecks’ defense is also playing at a very high level, and they have a very good turnover margin.

I think the Panthers will likely win this game, but I like the Roughnecks to cover the 6.5. I don’t hate the idea of sprinkling a little bit on the moneyline at +240.

UFL Week 8 picks: Roughnecks (+6.5). Zaquandre White Over 44.5 rush yards (-102)

Birmingham Stallions @ St. Louis Battlehawks (-1.5)

When and where to watch: May 17th at 1:00 PM Eastern on ABC

Birmingham hasn’t looked as dominant recently. However, they are still finding ways to win. The same can be said for the Battlehawks. They have also been winning games, but their offense has been pretty inefficient. Max Duggan is running the ball well, but he’s struggled to open the passing game up since his first week of starting.

Neither of these teams has locked up the playoffs either. The Stallions need to win and the Roughnecks to lose to lock the playoffs up. The Battlehawks need to win and the Renegades to lose. St. Louis is the one team that has a clear home-field advantage. They’ve got to be focused on the fact that the Championship will be played in their home dome.

Although I don’t know if that will be enough for them to pull off a win. The Stallions have been playing more physical than the Battlehawks. It’s assumed that J’Mar Smith will start this week, but we don’t know for sure yet. He came in last week and helped seal the game for the Stallions. Keep in mind, Smith has won a Championship with this team before.

UFL Week 8 picks: Stallions +105. Method of first score: Birmingham Field Goal (+340)

Arlington Renegades @ DC Defenders

When and where to watch: May 18th at 12:00 PM Eastern on ESPN

This will be one of the best games of the weekend in my opinion. Actually, all of these games could be fire. This is one of the best weeks in the UFL that there’s been as a whole. Not to mention, it’s a hard one to pick. The Renegades’ playoff hopes are slipping away. However, a win over DC could go a long way.

The Defenders did win last week over the Brahmas, but their defense has been a sieve lately. They have so many injuries in the defensive backfield, plus they just haven’t been the same since losing Gregg Williams.

Luis Perez was looking more like the regular Perez, throwing interceptions and looking immobile. Last week, however, he played fairly well against the Michigan Panthers. He threw for over 300 yards and two touchdowns. Jordan Ta’amu is about the same. If he gets behind, he’s notorious for turnovers. I’m going to ride the underdog here as they play to stay playoff-relevant.

UFL Week 8 Parlay

Every week, I’ll throw a parlay together of the picks I feel are the best. We missed last week’s, however, we’ll hit this week. This is also great as a round-robin parlay!

Houston Roughnecks (+6.5)
Stallions ML (+105)
Renegades (+110)

Payout: +705
