UFL Week 5 Picks & Parlays 2025
We had a mixed bag of results last week, and this week we’re late getting to the post. It happens in life. You’re sick, busy, and spending your PTO days in bed sick rather than getting the garden ready for planting. However, I love sports so much that I’m still thinking about which team may beat the other. I’m still looking at some props. Let’s take a look at my top UFL Week 5 picks and parlay!
UFL Week 5 Picks & Parlay!
Memphis Showboats @ Birmingham Stallions (-11.5)
When and where to watch: April 25th at 8:00 PM Eastern on FOX
The three-time Champion Stallions are at home against the only winless team in the league. Which you would think would make it easy for our UFL Week 5 picks, however, it’s not that simple. I’ve noticed a pattern in the past few weeks. As lines move, they seem to favor the opposite side of the line movement.
The Stallions opened as 10-point favorites, then 10.5, and now up to 11.5. The line is moving their way as money is pouring in. Although if we look at the past few weeks, that means we should be taking the Showboats.
NEWS: The Memphis Showboats will be starting Dresser Winn at QB this week against the Stallions, per HC Jim Turner.

The Stallions will be rolling out quarterback Case Cookus, who most recently played for the Memphis Showboats. The Showboats could use him as they’ve had terrible luck with EJ Perry and Troy Williams. This week, they’ve decided to name Dresser Winn their starter.
A new quarterback always seems to give a little boost to the team. Maybe the team rallies around him. Or perhaps it’s because the opposing defense has no game tape on him. These Showboats know Cookus, though. I’m going to stick with the trends and take the team that the line is moving away from.
UFL Week 5 picks: Showboats (+11.5). Prop Bet: Most Passing Yards: Dresser Winn +140
Michigan Panthers (-2.5) @ St. Louis Battlehawks
When and where to watch: April 26th at 7:00 PM Eastern on ESPN
The Panthers have looked great. They’re 3-1, with only a loss to the Stallions. Bryce Perkins looks like the league MVP so far. However, Panthers’ head coach Mike Nolan doesn’t seem fully committed to him. That especially holds true as Danny Etling is healthy again. Will Etling cut into Perkins’ playing time again?
The Battlehawks started the season strong against easy opponents. They’ve lost the last two, however. As the Renegades and Defenders both have better records than them in their division, this feels like a must-win game.
The Battlehawks will have to do it without Manny Wilkins, who tore his Achilles last week. Instead, they’ll roll out Iowa-native, Max Duggan. Duggan, the former TCU stud, will look to make a splash.

On paper, with how these teams have been playing, the Panthers should win easily. However, I’m going to go with the Battlehawks for the must-win game in my UFL Week 5 picks. This is another game where the money is moving towards the Panthers. Therefore, we’re following the same trend of taking the opposite side of the money movement.
UFL Week 5 picks: Battlehawks +115, Prop Bet: Jaylan Moore Over 23.5 Receiving Yards
DC Defenders @ Arlington Renegades (-3.5)
When and where to watch: April 27th at 12:00 PM Eastern on ESPN
This feels like the game of the weekend. Two teams that are sitting at 3-1, fighting for the division lead. Both have had quarterbacks who have overperformed in the past few years and strong defenses. This is definitely an interesting game to pick for our UFL Week 5 picks, especially with the line at -3.5.
It was -4 on some books. The Defenders had their first loss last weekend against the Brahmas at home. Now they’ll stay in Arlington to face off against Arlington, which has been playing at a Championship level. Head Coach Bob Stops has the team playing really well.

This feels like a close back-and-forth type of a game, though. Both defenses will work on making the opposing quarterback make mistakes. If you’ve followed my work before, you know I’m not a huge fan of either of these quarterbacks. They’ll both throw picks in this game. However, this comes down to the wire and is a 3-point game. Therefore, I’m taking the dogs.
UFL Week 5 picks: Defenders +3.5, Prop Bet: Method of First Score: Field Goal (+120)
Houston Roughnecks @ San Antonio Brahmas (-3.5)
When and where to watch: April 27th at 3:00 PM Eastern on ESPN
The grossest game to handicap in our UFL Week 5 picks is the Houston Roughnecks at the San Antonio Brahmas. The Brahmas got their first win last week in an upset against DC. Now they’ll have to prove it wasn’t a one-game bump from new head coach Payton Pardee.
The Roughnecks may look a little scattered. However, they just covered against the Stallions. Jalen McClendon, their third-string quarterback, came in last week and looked great. He should draw the start again this week with Nolan Henderson nursing an injury.
TOUCHDOWN 🤩

After just one win, it seems like too many points for the Brahmas to be getting. Especially if McClendon can sling the ball like he did last week against the Stallions. This feels like an ugly game that will end 13-12. So yes, I also like under 38.5.
UFL Week 5 picks: Houston (+3.5) Prop Bet: Method of First Score: Hou- Field Goal (+360)
UFL Week 5 Parlay
Every week, I’ll throw a parlay together of the picks I feel are the best. We missed last week’s, however, we’ll hit this week. This is also great as a round-robin parlay!
Battlehakws Moneyline (+115)
Roughnecks Moneyline (+160)
Roughnecks/Brahmas Under 38.5
Payout: +945
