UFL Week 5 DFS Picks 2025
The second season of the United Football League continues as Week 5 kicks off this Friday.
We are starting to see the stronger teams separate themselves from the weaker ones as we reach the halfway mark of the season. We can also see the stronger players separate themselves from the weaker one. This makes it important to focus on the players who are showing that strength this week as we build our UFL Week 5 DFS Picks 2025 lineups.
Each week, we’ll give you one of our favorite building blocks from each position to help you assemble a winning DFS roster. You can get in on the action in one of many DraftKings contests. This week features a 4-game slate, a Saturday only slate, or a Sunday 2-game slate.
UFL Week 5 DFS Picks 2025
Quarterback
Jalan McClendon – Houston Roughnecks, $9,100
McClendon was called into action last week after Nolan Henderson left with an injury in the second quarter. The third-string quarterback would go on to complete 22 of 31 pass attempts for 236 yards in relief. He also added five carries for 17 yards and a touchdown to his total coming away with 16.1 fantasy points in the process.

There is no official word yet as to if McClendon will start this week. However, if he does, he has the best matchup for a quarterback taking on San Antonio. The Brahmas are allowing opposing quarterbacks to score an average of 20.2 fantasy points per game this season. Two weeks ago, Manny Wilkins accumulated 22.7 points. Last week, Jordan Ta’amu lit it up to score 32.4 against them.
Keep an eye on the practice report for this one. Should McClendon get the start, he is a lock for your DFS lineup this week.
Running Back
Zaquandre White – Houston Roughnecks, $6,700
White produced his second week of double-digit fantasy points in a row dropping 13.2 against the Birmingham Stallions last week. It was also his highest output of the season as found the end zone for the first time this year. He added three receptions for 26 yards to his tally. The former Gamecock leads the Roughnecks in carries and has the fourth-most receptions on the team.

This week, he faces a San Antonio defense that has allowed the most rushing yards in the league this season. The Brahmas are giving up 144.5 rushing yards per game and have surrendered a league-high 11 touchdowns on the ground.
White is averaging the fourth-most fantasy points per game this season despite appearing in only three games. Even if Jalan McClendon gets the start at quarterback, White should still get plenty of opportunity against a favorable matchup.
Wide Receiver
Deon Cain – Birmingham Stallions, $8,100
Cain came back from a Week 3 absence to put up a 14.9 point game in which he caught 3 of 4 targets for 69 yards and a touchdown. He leads the Stallions averaging 54 receiving yards per game and accounts for 2 of the 5 touchdown receptions on the team. In Week 2, the former Clemson Tiger hung an 18.4 point day against the Michigan Panthers.

The Stallions are taking on a Memphis Showboats defense that has allowed the fourth-most passing yards in the league. More importantly, they have given up the most passing touchdowns this season. Expect Cain to continue his scoring trend and for Birmingham to find a way to capitalize on their most dangerous receiving threat early and often.
DST
Birmingham Stallions $4,500
The Stallions enter Week 5 averaging 7 fantasy points per game this season which lands them in the bottom three in the league. However, they are allowing the second-fewest points in the UFL this year giving up an average of 13.8 per game to their opponents. They rank fourth in terms of sacks (8) and have three interceptions so far this year.

What you love here is the matchup. Birmingham is taking on the only team without a win this season and they are doing so on their home turf. The Memphis Showboats are averaging just 12.5 points per game this year. As a team, they have thrown six interceptions and lost three fumbles. They have also surrendered six sacks. It will be tough to get this offense going against a formidable Stallions defense.
