UFL Week 2 Picks & Parlays 2025
The UFL kicked off last week, and while our parlay didn’t hit, we went 4-1 in picks in this article. The biggest surprise was the returning champions, the Birmingham Stallions, looking so vulnerable. Can they bounce back this week? Let’s take a look at some UFL Week 2 picks and a parlay!
UFL Week 2 Picks & Parlay!
Birmingham Stallions (-2.5 @ DraftKings) @ Michigan Panthers
When and where to watch: April 4th at 8:00 PM Eastern on FOX
The biggest surprise of last week and the one we missed out on was the Birmingham Stallions’ 18-11 loss to the D.C. Defenders. Their offensive line had more holes in it than Swiss cheese. Sorry to use that tired old phrase, however, it’s the best way to describe it. The line allowed eight sacks and nine tackles-for-loss.
The Panthers enjoyed a 26-12 win over the Memphis Showboats to open their season. Last year their defense was one of the best defenses in the league. However, it was the offense that wasn’t able to pull its weight consistently. That may have changed this year, thanks to Bryce Perkins, who went 16/19, 163 yards and a touchdown while splitting snaps with Danny Etling.
The Panthers will need to up their run game after a poor output. However, after the Stallions’ quarterback McGough went 10/23 for 89 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. This should be a great matchup, and likely the game of the week. If the Stallions’ offensive line problems aren’t fixed, though, the Panthers are going to make life tough for McGough and company.
UFL Week 2 picks: It takes another week for the Stallions to get it together. Panthers +2.5, Panthers MoneyLine +114, I also like Under 38.5 (+105 at DraftKings)
Memphis Showboats @ D.C. Defenders (-7.5 @ FanDuel)
When and where to watch: April 5th at 8:00 PM Eastern on ABC
The D.C. Defenders surprised many last week when they beat the Stallions last week. However, I wouldn’t call it a fluke. Their defensive line played really well, and defensive coordinator Gregg Williams coached a very good game on defense. Jordan Ta’amu also played well, throwing for a league-high 211 passing yards.
The Showboats didn’t look all that great against Michigan last week. Their coach, Ken Wisenhunt, had left the team due to personal reasons, but has since returned to the team. Will his return yield a better result? I’m not sure the Showboats currently have the talent to have the coach make a difference.
Last week, they had a 50/50 split between Troy Williams and E.J. Perry. They combined for 197 passing yards and both threw an interception. They also struggled to get much going in the run game. I don’t see them turning it around in one week, especially as they continue to split reps between Perry and Williams.
UFL Week 2 picks: D.C. has home-field advantage, and a lemon party will be had. D.C. (-7.5)
Houston Roughnecks @ Arlington Renegades (-10 @ DraftKings)
When and where to watch: April 6th at 12:00 PM Eastern on ESPN
The Renegades may be the best team in the league if they can play like they did last week against the Brahmas. The Roughnecks looked like the worst team in the league, again. I don’t think they are going to turn it around in a week. In fact, I’m not sure they can do much to turn around this season.
Luis Perez went 20 for 25 for 164 yards. He also ran twice for 18 yards and showed a little more mobility. The lack of mobility is what has held him back in the past. Their offensive line looked really good, especially in the run game. Kalen Ballage ran nine times for 110 yards and a touchdown.
The Roughnecks started their 2025 campaign with a 31-6 lost to the Battlehawks. This week, we will find out if that was an indication that the Battlehawks are really good, or the Roughnecks are really bad. I personally think it’s a little of both. Curtis Johnson has announced Anthony Brown will be the starter again. He went 5/11 for 21 yards and two interceptions last week. I’m sure we’ll see Nolan Henderson as well, but it won’t be enough.
UFL Week 2 picks: Potential Best Team vs. Worst Team – Arlington (-10) is a lock.
San Antonio Brahmas @ St. Louis Battlehawks (-7 @ DraftKings)
When and where to watch: April 6th at 6:30 PM Eastern on FS1
The Battlehawks started the season with their big win against Houston. Now, they play their first game of the season in the BattleDome. This is the only UFL stadium that’s packing in 30,000 people on a week-to-week basis.
Quarterback Manny Wilkins looked better than I expected, completing 17/22 passes for 189 yards. He also ran for 43 yards and a touchdown. Their offensive line pushed Houston’s defensive line around as Jerveon Howard ran for 115 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries. Jacob Saylors also added 98 yards on 16 carries for a touchdown.
The Brahmas looked a little lost against the Renegades. Whether that’s a case of them being bad or Arlington being really good could be seen today. Kellen Mond, a former NFL quarterback, went 17/31 for 159 yards and a 5.1 average. The Battledome is going to be too much for this Brahmas team to turn it around now.
UFL Week 2 picks: The Battledome will be rocking, Battlehawks (-7)
UFL Week 2 Parlay
Every week, I’ll throw a parlay together of the picks I feel are the best. We missed last week’s, however, we’ll hit this week. This is also great as a round-robin parlay! Two of three
D.C. Defenders (-7)
Arlington (-10)
Battlehawks (-7)
