UFL Week 2 DFS Picks 2025
Quarterback
Manny Wilkins – St. Louis Battlehawks, $9,600
Sometimes, the most expensive car on the lot is the best car on the lot. Such is the case with Manny Wilkins who is coming off of a dominant Week 1 performance against the Houston Roughnecks.
Wilkins scored a league-best 23.9 fantasy points completing 17 of his 22 pass attempts for 189 yards. However he was even more dangerous with his legs adding 43 yards and two touchdowns on eight carries.
He and his team are going up against a San Antonio Brahmas defense that is licking its wounds after surrendering four rushing touchdowns to the Arlington Renegades last week. They also allowed Louis Perez to complete 20 of 25 passes for 164 yards. Look for Wilkins to take advantage of this matchup and find his way to another solid fantasy outing.
Running Back
De’Veon Smith – Arlington Renegades, $7,800
Smith was the ultimate vulture scoring three touchdowns last week on three carries against the San Antonio Brahmas last week. Even more impressive was that he managed to score 18.3 points on the day while gaining only three total yards.
The former Michigan Wolverine is in his third go around with the Renegades having led the team in rushing in both the 2023 and 2024 seasons. Smith has racked up 13 total touchdowns in his time in Arlington.
This week, the Renegades face a Houston Roughnecks defense that was gouged for 273 rushing yards by the St. Louis Battlehawks. Both Jarveon Howard and Jacob Saylors managed to find the end zone against the Roughnecks. Both also exceeded 24 fantasy points in the matchup. You can expect to see Arlington exploit that weakness this week with their pair of explosive running backs.
Wide Receiver
Jonathan Adams – Memphis Showboats, $6,600
Adams was pretty much the only bright spot in a disappointing offensive performance by the Memphis Showboats last week. The former Arkansas State and New Orleans Breakers wideout snared 6 of his 7 targets, racking up 93 receiving yards. He also accounted for one of his team’s two total touchdowns on the day. He enters Week 2 as the league leader in receiving yards.
Last season, Adams posted the second-most receiving yards for the Showboats and had the third highest targets on the team. Last week, he earned the most targets and led the team in receptions as well as receiving yards.
Memphis has a tough test this week, facing a D.C. Defenders defense that limited Alex McGough to under 100 passing yards last week. However, that game was a close one. This one may likely get out of hand early leading to a heavier dose of the Memphis passing game which lends itself to more garbage time production from Adams. Regardless, he is a steal at his current price.
DST
D.C. Defenders $4,400
Last week, the Defenders throttled the Birmingham Stallions, holding the defending UFL champions to just 11 points. Even more, they surrendered only 138 yards of total offense which was the least of all the Week 1 matchups. The D.C. defense terrorized Alex McGough all day, sacking him eight times and picking him off once.
This week, the Defenders will face the Memphis Showboats who scored just 12 points in their season opener. The Michigan Panthers took it to the Showboats last week scoring 17 fantasy points against the Showboats which was the highest total of the week.
Memphis surrendered two interceptions and three sacks last week as well as a defensive touchdown. Expect D.C. to get after this offense and come away with another big day in fantasy.
