Premier Lacrosse League Week 10 Betting Picks 2025
The Premier Lacrosse League season continues to cruise along as the teams head to Denver, Colorado, for Week 10 of PLL action. It’ll begin with the hosting Denver Outlaws taking on the Carolina Chaos in a key Western Conference matchup Friday Night, August 1st. Philadelphia and Boston will square off on Friday as well. The Outlaws will also face the New York Atlas on Saturday in what should be the game of the week. The weekend will conclude with a battle between the Maryland Whipsnakes and California Redwoods. The Utah Archers have the Week 10 Bye after hosting the action last week in Salt Lake City. Let’s dive in and take a look at the Premier Lacrosse League Week 10 picks and best bets.
The Denver Outlaws and New York Atlas each sit comfortably atop their respective conferences, each having two-game leads over second place. It’ll be a huge weekend for both teams as they play each other, and Denver plays twice as the host team. The battle between the Waterdogs and Cannons could leave either team second in their conference or last. California and Maryland are also hoping to keep their teams in the mix and out of the basement. With just two weeks left in the regular season, it all sets up for a great weekend of lacrosse action in Denver.
PLL: Premier Lacrosse League Week 10 Picks and Best Bets
Carolina Chaos (+1.5) vs Denver Outlaws (-1.5)
The Carolina Chaos and Denver Outlaws will face off first with a battle on ESPN+ Friday, August 1st, with a start time set for 8:00 p.m. ET. When these teams matched up in Week 2 in Charlotte, the Chaos came out on top 12-9. That dropped the Outlaws to 0-2, and they haven’t looked back since.

This is a strong game between the top two teams in the Western Conference, and it should be a great game. The Outlaws are on top of the world right now and led by their young star, Brennan O’Neill. A home game, with revenge on their mind, I don’t think the Outlaws will look past Carolina even with the Atlas looming large on Saturday. Give me Denver in this one.
Pick: Outlaws -1.5
Philadelphia Waterdogs (+1.5) vs Boston Cannons (-1.5)
Friday night’s double header will be capped off with the Waterdogs taking on the Cannons. This one will also air on ESPN+ with game time set for 10:30 p.m. ET. These teams met back in Week 3, where Philadelphia was the victor by a score of 14-11 at home in Philadelphia.
I’m a little puzzled as to why the Waterdogs are the underdogs in this case. Sure, they’ve dropped their last two games by underperforming against the Whipsnakes and Chaos. However, this is a great place for them to right the ship against a team they’ve already handled earlier in the season. Boston has fresh legs after a week off, but a heartbreaking loss to the Outlaws was their third in a row. I’ll have to ride with the under/Waterdogs in this one.

Pick: Waterdogs +1.5
New York Atlas (-1.5) vs Denver Outlaws (+1.5)
The game of the week, possible game of the year, and do I even say it? A potential championship game preview here? All eyes will be on this one as the top two teams in the league do battle. The best part is, we haven’t seen these teams play yet, so this will be our first shot at the action. This one is set for a national audience on Saturday, August 2nd, with a 1:00 p.m. ET start time on ABC and streaming on ESPN+.

The Atlas offense is firing on all cylinders, as we typically see from this team each year in the regular season. Their defense is on point as well, making them a scary team. Denver will be coming off their Friday game (and predicted win) against the Chaos. Can they keep this game within one point, or win? I think they can. Riding the high of a win Friday, and the joy of playing at home in front of their hometown fans, the Outlaws at least keep it within one point.
Pick: Outlaws +1.5
Maryland Whipsnakes (-1.5) vs California Redwoods (+1.5)
The weekend will be capped off with the Whipsnakes and Redwoods facing off Saturday evening at 8:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+. It’ll be the first matchup of the season for these two 3-5 squads, who each sit in the third spot in their respective conferences. With just two weeks remaining in the season, this could be a pivotal game in keeping either team’s postseason dreams alive.
Both teams sit at 1-2 since the All-Star break and eerily share a lot of similarities. This one could be a defensive battle and a lower-scoring game. The Redwoods defense looked strong last week, but the Whipsnakes have had one of the better defenses in the league. They just need a little support from their offense, and I think the better team comes out on top.
Pick: Whipsnakes -1.5
