Overwatch Champions Series 2024 World Finals Betting Picks

It’s time to decide the best of the best in the this season. The Overwatch Champions Series 2024 World Finals tournament is set to take place November 22-24 at DreamHack, Stockholm.

The Overwatch Champions Series consists of squads from North America (NA), North Africa (EMEA), and Asia. Teams have been in competition since February to earn their spot at the World Finals and now it is down to the top eight teams to battle it out for the grand prize.

You may not know much about this vast universe, however, that does not mean that you can’t stand to profit from it even if you don’t fully understand it. So with that in mind, let’s take a look at three teams who have a shot at hoisting the trophy on Saturday.

All odds can be found on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Crazy Raccoon (-110)

Crazy Raccoon have made it into the finals bracket in three Champions Series events this season taking home two first place trophies. The all-Korean squad went 7-0 in the OWCS Asia Stage 2 Korea Regular season. In that span, they went on a 21-0 map record,

In addition, the team won 18 straight matches in both S-Tier and A-Tier tournaments. This streak includes the Esports World Cup in which they put together a 4-1 victory over Toronto Ultra to win the tournament.

Crazy Raccoon opens the World Finals by taking on the North American NRG Shock for the first time this season. NRG Shock’s highest finish this season was second place at the North America Stage 3 tournament in August.

In the highly likely event Crazy Raccoon makes it past the first round, waiting for them in the upper bracket semifinals is either Toronto Defiant out of Canada, or the Finnish ENCE. Crazy Raccoon is a combined 2-0 against both teams this year.

Team Falcons (+160)

The biggest competition for Crazy Raccoon this season has been Team Falcons. This rivalry has decided the winner of three events this season with Team Falcons coming away with one of the victories. Overall they are 34-12 this year.

The mostly Korean squad was responsible for ending Crazy Raccoon’s win streak en route to winning the Stage 2 Korea event in September. In fact, they are the only three blemishes on what could have been a flawless season for the hottest team in the series.

Team Falcons are 4-0 all-time against their first round opponent Twisted Minds with a win in the Esports World Cup Group Stage back in July.

They will take on either Spacestation Gaming or NTMR, both of which are North American teams. Team Falcons already has a win against SSG this year. There seems to be very little keeping them from reaching the upper bracket finals and a potential rematch with Crazy Raccoon.

Twisted Minds (+6500)

It’s hard to imagine a longshot winning this tournament given the success of the favorites this season. However, Twisted Minds has a better shot at a first round upset taking on a Team Falcons squad that is susceptible to being upset having lost to teams like Poker Face, ZETA DIVISION, and LGD.OA.

Twisted Minds has taken home five first place trophies this season taking down wins at the EMEA Stage 1 tournament, all three Saudi eLeague Majors, and the stc play Warrior Cup.

Although. If they do make it out of the first round, Twisted Minds will be hoping NTMR can pull off the upset over Spacestation Gaming to advance to the semifinals. Twisted Minds is 0-5 against SSG this season but have beaten NTMR in their only head-to-head matchup this year.

This bet still stands a chance even if they have to win their way up through the lower bracket. If you can get in early enough, you can grab Twisted Minds to win their opening round at +550
