The Titans feature the second-highest scoring offense (226) on the ladder. They also have accumulated the second-best point differential (+108) behind only the Sydney Roosters.

Canberra started the season logging wins in its first two matches. The Raiders fell on hard times losing the next three. However, they have bounced back and enter this round riding a three-match winning streak. In that span, they have beaten their opponents by an average of 25 points. Last week, they sent the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs packing in a 48-4 rout.
The edge goes to Canberra here based in large part on the recent head-to-head history which has the Raiders 2-0 against this spread over the last two seasons. Both matches were low scoring as well with neither team reaching 20 points in either of them.
North Queensland Cowboys vs. Newcastle Knights Under 49.5 Total Points (-110 via FanDuel)
This matchup pits a pair of three-win clubs suffering through mediocre offensive outputs so far this season. Newcastle has produced 168 total points this year, which ranks fifth-worst on the ladder. The Knights are averaging just 21 points per match through eight rounds. Their defense has been solid though, allowing the third-fewest points (132) on the ladder. Last week’s 27-26 loss to the Wests Tigers was the first and only match this season that exceeded this point total.

North Queensland has also suffered out of the gate amassing 138 points so far this year. The Cowboys are averaging an anemic 17 points per match. Despite having given up the most points (246) on the year, only three of their matches this season have hit the over on this total.
Neither of the last two matchups between these clubs have reached the 50 point mark. In fact, the Cowboys have scored exactly six points in both. Given their offensive troubles, it’s hard to see this match turning out much differently.
St. George Illawarra Dragons +15.5 vs. New Zealand Warriors (-102 via FanDuel)
Not much has gone right for St. George Illawarra this season as it has only two wins to show for its work. On top of that, the Dragons are the not so proud owners of the league’s worst offense which has yet to break the 100 point barrier. While they have been manhandled by a majority of their opponents this year, they have managed to stay within at least 16 points in two of their last three matches.

New Zealand enters this round with an even 4-4 record and sit middle of the ladder as a result. The Warriors have lost three of their last four matches and are 3-5 on the season against this spread. They haven’t beaten an opponent by at least 16 points since Round 3 in late July when they handed a 42-4 loss to the Cowboys.
The Dragons have covered this spread in each of their last head-to-head matchups with the Warriors. This includes an eight point loss exactly a year ago to the date of this match.
