Sydney Roosters (-1.5) vs. Dolphins (-105 via DraftKings)

Saturday, August 8th, 12:30 a.m.

Sydney currently finds themselves 9th on the ladder sitting one spot outside of the playoffs. They are 2-3 in their last five matches and 9-10 overall this season. However, the Roosters are 5-4 on the road this year. All nine of their wins this season have covered this spread.

The Dolphins are in 8th place on the ladder only two points ahead of the Roosters for the final playoff spot. They are 10-9 overall and are 5-4 on their home turf. Each of their nine losses have been by at least two points this season.

These teams have met only four times since 1998 and the Rooster have won three of them. All three of Sydney’s wins have covered this spread including their 36-26 win in Round 9 this season.

New Zealand Warriors vs. Canterbury Bulldogs: Leka Halasima Anytime Tryscorer (+190 via DraftKings)

Halasima has been on a tear lately, scoring a try in each of his last five matches and seven of his last eight. Overall, the second row player has scored 10 tries this season. Earlier this year, the Tongan went on a three-match scoring streak.

The Warriors will get their captain James Fisher-Harris back for this match which has relegated Halasima to the interchange. Don’t expect this to hamper this prop’s ability to cash as Halasima has scored four of this ten tries this year as a substitute.

South Sydney Rabbitohs Over Gold Coast Titans (+130 via Hard Rock)

It’s been a rough go for South Sydney as they have gone 6-14 so far this season and are dead last on the ladder. The Rabbitohs have lost nine straight heading into this week. Their last victory was in Round 11 in a 22-12 win against Wests in May. They are hoping to end the season as strongly as they started when they jumped out of the gate winning four of their first five matches.

The Titans haven’t fared much better this year entering this match with a 5-14 record. Gold Coast is tied with South Sydney for last place on the ladder. They will be taking on the Rabbitohs this round with a little momentum picking up wins in each of their last two matches. Prior to that, the Titans suffered through a four-match losing streak.

The Rabbitohs hold a 17-6 advantage in their head-to-head matchups against the Titans since the 1998 season. South Sydney has outscored Gold Coast 92-40 in their last two meetings with the Rabbitohs coming away with the win in both of them.

North Queensland Cowboys vs. Parramatta Eels Under 47.5 (-110 via Hard Rock)

Parramatta has scored the third-fewest points on the ladder this season. The Eels are averaging only 18 points per match this year. Defensively, they are allowing an average of 26 points per match. They have only combined for 48 points with their opponents in 6 of their 19 matches .
In their 2025 campaign.

The Cowboys have the sixth-lowest scoring output on the ladder this season. North Queensland has averaged to score only 20 points per match this year. Their defense has been suspect as they have given up the most points in the league and have the second-worst point differential on top of that.

Neither of the last two matchups between these teams have reached 48 points. In fact, none of their last five head-to-head meetings going back to the 2022 season have gone over this prop mark.
