Vancouver Surge Over Atlanta FaZe (+145 via DraftKings)

These teams last met in the opening round of the Major III tournament with the Vancouver Surge leaving the stage with a 3-1 victory. The Surge would go on to lose to the LA Thieves in the Grand Finals while the FaZe exited in Elimination Round 3 at the hands of the Miami Heretics.

Atlanta is second in the regular season standings and 20 points behind the Thieves for first overall. The FaZe have a 27-9 record and have the second-highest game winning percentage. Vancouver is not far behind, sitting in fourth in the standings. The Surge have won 53.64% of their games this season.

Both teams are 3-2 over their last five matches. However, the Surge have won three of the last five matches against Atlanta going back to February.

Toronto Ultra -1.5 Over Carolina Royal Ravens (-130 via DraftKings)

Toronto heads into the Major IV qualifiers in third place in the regular season standings. The Ultra have ripped off 18 wins in their last 25 matches going back to mid-February. They are winners of four of their last five. Toronto was one match away from reaching the Grand Finals of the Major III last week. Unfortunately they were knocked out by the Surge in the Elimination Finals.

Carolina is fifth in the regular season standings 200 points behind the first-place LA Thieves. However, they have struggled recently and have lost four in a row leading up to their qualifiers match on Friday. The Royal Ravens have lost seven of their last ten going back to late March.

The Ultra have covered this spread in five of their last seven matches. In Carloina’s seven recent losses, six of them were decided by at least two games. These teams have only met once this season with Toronto earning the 3-1 victory. Toronto is a -235 favorite to win outright, so taking the spread offers a much better value.
