How to Bet On Darts
There are several ways to get in on the betting action in darts. These include the normal moneyline bets that pick an outright winner. You can also choose to bet against the spread where a player has to win or lose by a set number of legs to cash your ticket.
On top of those, there are individual match props including a player to score a perfect 9-dart finish, which player will have the most 180’s, or even, what the highest checkout will be for a player.
This week, I’ve selected two of the four matches which offer the best opportunity to cash based on the matchup and the odds.
BetMGM Premier League Darts 2025 Night 11 Betting Picks
Nathan Aspinall over Gerwyn Price (+114 via FanDuel)
Thursday, April 17th, 10:45 a.m. Pacific
Aspinall has gone 13-5 over the first two weeks of April. This includes four wins in the European Tour 3 event in which he fell to Stephen Bunting in the finals. At one point, he ripped off nine match wins in a row. Three of those resulted in his Night 10 win in the Premier League, beating Luke Humpries to move himself into fourth place in the standings.
Earlier this week, The Asp saw his winning streak snapped by an 8-6 loss to Damon Herta in the Players Championship 13 tournament. During the quarter-finals, Aspinall voiced his displeasure with the quality of the boards in the event. He chose not to participate in the Players Champion 14 the following day.

On the other side of the matchup. Price has also enjoyed a successful April posting a 14-7 record since the beginning of the month. The Iceman took home the trophy at the Players Championship 12 last week. He has won two nights so far this season, however, he is tied with Aspinall with 15 points in the overall standings.
Price has beaten Apsinall in both of their head-to-head matches in the Premier League including a Night 3 meeting in the finals. However, The Asp walked away with the last victory in the series edging Price 6-5 in the European Tour 3 finals.
Stephen Bunting over Michael van Gerwen (+120 via BetMGM)
Thursday, April 17th, 10:45 a.m. Pacific
We are going back to the well with Stephen Bunting this week despite a disappointing first round loss to Luke Humpries last week. He hasn’t competed since then, which should leave him fresher than his opponent who has played in both the Players Championship 13 and 14 tournaments this week. Bunting picked up his only night win of the season to begin the month, then followed it up with his first European Tour Title four days later.
Michael van Gerwen is 4-6 in the month of April to include a round of eight loss in the Players Championship 14 tournament this week. Mighty Mike has yet to win a night in the Premier League. He does sit below the cut line tied with Gerwyn Price and Nathan Asinall with 15 points on the strength of his six appearances in the semi-finals.

These two do not face each other often. In fact, they have only crossed paths twice in the last two years including their Night 2 meeting this year. It was van Gerwin who walked away with the 6-1 win that day. However, Bunting bested the Dutchman 11-7 in the 2024 Masters Tournament.
Rob Cross vs Luke Littler Over 7.5 180s (+135 via BetMGM)
Thursday, April 17th, 11:45 Pacific
Luke Littler leads the Premier League with 113 total 180s this season, averaging 4.91 per match. He has also hit more 180s than his opponent in 70% of his matches this season. The Nuke has logged the most 180s of the night six times in the season. Should he manage to hit his average again this week, his opponent would only need to supply another 2.89 to hit this prop.

Luckily, Rob Cross comes close enough to make this interesting. Voltage is averaging 2.56 180s per match this season. He has tossed at least three 180s in each of his last two Premier league matches.
These two accounted for 10 combined 180s in their Night7 semi-finals matchup.
