Ottawa Charge (+105) Over Boston Fleet
The Charge enter their fourth game of the season with a loss, an overtime loss, and a regulation loss on their record and sit in fourth place in the league with four points. They’ve done well to keep games close however, having only been outscored by a single goal (7 GF, 8 GA) so far this year.
Ottawa suffered a loss to Montreal to open the season then picked up a win against Toronto the following week. Both were decided by one goal as was their most recent loss to Montréal.
Forward Tereza Vanišová leads the Charge with three points this year including two goals and an assist. Goalie Emerance Maschmeyer has been the only one between the pipes this year and has the third-best save percentage in the league (0.927).
Boston currently sits in last place in the league with three points including a win and two losses in regulation. The Fleet opened the season with two straight losses before handing the Sirens their first defeat last week.
The Fleet will turn to offensive minded defensemen Megan Keller who has two goals and an assist this season. Forward Hilary Knight has also contributed to Boston’s offensive success with a goal and two assists of her own. Goalie Aerin Frankel has allowed 6 goals on 95 shots this season.
These teams went head-to-head three times last season with each coming away with two wins and two losses in regulation against each other. Boston did come away with an overtime win to put them ahead in the series.
Toronto Sceptres vs. New York Sirens Over 5.5 goals (+140)
Toronto and New York have allowed 17 goals combined this season. Sceptres goalie Kristen Campbell has allowed nine shots to get past her while Sirens goalie Corinne Schroeder accounts for the remaining eight.
Offensively, these two teams have the second and third highest goal tally in the league with New York racking up 10 goals this season and Toronto scoring 8 times this year.
Toronto is coming off of a nine goal game against the Frost. New York just wrapped up a six goal game with Boston. The Sirens have gone over this total in two of their three games this season.
With both teams inability to stop shots, taking the Over at plus money offers the most value given the Under is juiced to as much as -180 on DraftKings.
