KBO Best Bets August 7th, 2024
The KBO action continues on Wednesday morning with a few intriguing matchups. Below are two best bets I have for the action in the KBO. Check out my best bets in the games between the SSG Landers/Kiwoom Heroes and LG Twins/Doosan Bears.
SSG Landers vs. Kiwoom Heroes

The KBO games continue early Wednesday morning between the SSG Landers taking on the Kiwoom Heroes. Right-handed pitcher Andrew Anderson takes the mound for the Landers who is having an outstanding season.
In fact, Anderson is 7-1 on the season with a 3.36 ERA and WHIP of 1.21. Furthermore, Anderson has been fantastic over his last four starts for the Landers. Anderson has gone at least six innings in all four starts and has recorded a win in three of the four.
Additionally, Anderson has allowed a total of four earned runs in that span. I say all that to say, Anderson is in absolute fantastic form right now.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Kim Yun-ha is will take the mound for the Heroes and has not been in great form as of late. In fact, over the last three starts, Yun-ha has allowed 14 earned runs and walks also are an issue for Yun-ha. He has issued at least eight walks over his last three starts.
The SSG Landers are 9-3 straight up this season against the Kiwoom Heroes. Despite winning 7 out of their last 10 games, the Heroes possess the worst record in the entire KBO. I expect another solid start here from Andrew Anderson for the SSG Landers.

LG Twins vs. Doosan Bears

The LG Twins and Doosan Bears matchup on Wednesday morning in what I expect to be a great pitching matchup.
Dietrich Enns gets the start for the LG Twins who got off to a rough start to the season. However, Enns seems to have turned the corner and is finding his form. Over his last five starts, Enns has allowed nine total runs. Eight of those coming in two starts. However, Enns is a workhorse and has gone at least six inning in eight straight starts and 10 out of the last 11. LG Twins games have seen 10 runs or less in four of the last five starts made by Enns.
On the other side, Jordan Balazovic gets the start for the Doosan Bears. On the season, Balazovic is 1-1 with 2.60 ERA. He has not faced the LG Twins this season however, has made two quality starts over his last three. Balazovic got into a bit of trouble against the SSG Landers giving up four runs in six innings pitch.
With the length both pitchers are giving to their respective teams I expect both pitchers to be locked in for this game and the runs to be at a premium. The total in this game is at 9.5 and I do like this go Under the total.
