WrestleMania 41 Betting Picks

WrestleMania 41 Betting Picks

Months of buildup are about to come to a head as WrestleMania 41 brings a two day spectacle to Las Vegas this weekend. Titles will be on the line. Scores will be settled. Grudges will reach a fevered pitch. This year’s Super Bowl of wrestling will feature some of the biggest storylines in recent history. Not the least of which is John Cena’s quest for his record-breaking 17th World Championship title.

As entertaining as this weekend will be, you can add to the fun by betting on the outcome of these matches. It does seem silly to bet on an outcome that is already predetermined. But, since WE don’t know what the outcome of each match will be, it’s just as feasible to call your shot and see if you know the script.

With that in mind here are a few of the better values from the WrestleMania 41 card. Odds are provided by MyBookie.ag and are subject to change.

WrestleMania 41 Betting Picks

Rhea Ripley to win the Women’s World Championship (+210)

Until last week, this match was a one-on-one contest between former Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley and current champ Iyo Sky. However, Bianca Belair inserted herself into the conversation after declaring a no-contest in a match between Ripley and Sky while serving as a guest referee during a title rematch.

Shortly after, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce decided to turn the Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania into a Triple Threat Match. This means reigning champion Iyo Sky loses her champions protection and can lose the title without taking the pinfall.

Bianca’s Road to WrestleMania

It’s been almost four years since the EST has held the Women’s World Champion title. Belair came out as the winner at the Elimination Chamber to earn her shot at reclaiming the championship. She is coming off a run as one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions which she shared with Jade Cargill. This is probably why she is going off as the favorite at -110 to win this match. Putting the title in her hands opens up a path to a run for Cargill to earn her first Women’s Championship.

Ripley’s Rocky Rise to the Top

Ripley has had a history of winning the championship title and having it “taken from her.” Last year, her title reign ended due to an injury suffered at the hands of Liv Morgan. After winning the title back from Morgan on the first RAW of the Netflix era, she watched her championship get stolen by Sky due to interference by Belair.

Iyo Sky Spoils the Party

Iyo Sky sat perched atop the Women’s division last year alongside her partners in Damage CTRL. At one point, the group held the Women’s Championship title as well as the SmackDown tag team gold. Sky watched that empire crumble as Bayley broke off from the group to pursue a title of her own.

In the end, Ripley will get back her title as she has done before which will spark a new feud between her and Sky as we build up towards SummerSlam.

Tiffany Stratton to Retain Women’s Championship (-110)

Tiffy time officially began on the first Friday Night Smackdown of the year when Tiffany Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to pin a weakened Nia Jax to claim the title. In doing so, she betrayed the Queen of the Ring who she had been partnered with until the betrayal. It’s the first time The Blonde Bombshell has held the Women’s Championship title.

Since hoisting the gold, she has defended her title against Bayley and Jax over the next two months. She’s made her way through the roster beating Candice LeRae, Chelsea Green, Piper Niven, and Roxanne Perez.

Stratton will take on Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania in what has quickly become a heated feud between the Queen and the young superstar. Flair earned her spot in the title match by winning the Royal Rumble. She chose her opponent after scouting out the competition at RAW and NXT. Should Flair win, it would be her 15th championship title.

This conflict has seen some cringe-worthy moments and has been one of the weakest storylines heading into the biggest nights in sports entertainment. However, there seems to be no reason to force Stratton to lose unless fans really want to see Flair win after coming back from injury. The clock should continue to run on Tiffy time when the final bell rings on this match in Las Vegas.

LA Knight to Retain United States Championship (+325)

LA Knight ended Logan Paul’s run as the United States Champion last year at SummerSlam ending a bitter rivalry between the two in the months leading up to the match. The Megastar held the title until Survivor Series when he fell to Shinsuke Nakamura. Last month, he won the title back from Shinsuke to earn his first WrestleMania moment as a champion.

Jacob Fatu stormed onto the WWE stage as a member of the new Bloodline under Solo Sikoa. The Tribal Wolf won a shot at the United States Championship in a No. 1 Contender’s Last Man Standing Match with Braun Strowman.

There is absolutely no reason to put the title on Fatu given his short time in the company and LA Knight’s insane public appeal. The only way Knight does not leave the ring with his title is if the WWE is looking to further another Bloodline story. To that end, Sikoa does not have a match this weekend, so having Fatu win a title before his former Tribal Chief does not seem like the play here.

Undisputed WWE Championship Match: First Finishing Move Performed – Cody Cutter (+110)

Since the odds for Cody Rhodes to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship title is +160, here is a creative way to take advantage of similar odds without needing the American Nightmare to win. As much as it makes sense for Cody to keep the title, allowing John Cena to break the world championship record is too tempting of a storyline to pass up. However, that scenario at -270 is too expensive to bet.

So, instead, let’s go with who will land their finishing move first and not worry about who has the title at the end of the match. If we think Cena will win, normal match flow will have Rhodes jump out to a hot start with Cena bouncing back. At some point, the intensity will ramp up and Rhodes will carry the momentum into what will look like a conclusion. This is the normal spot for a finishing move which means we should see a Cody Cutter administered before Cena begins his comeback.

The Attitude Adjustment almost always preceded by a five knuckle shuffle. This takes more time to set up than hitting a quick Cody Cutter. There will likely be more than one Attitude Adjustment in this match. However, they will probably save those until closer to the end.
