Handball is a popular sport overseas with several leagues in action around the globe. Not to mention a spot in the Summer Olympics.
The game is an exciting hybrid of basketball, soccer, and lacrosse. It’s fast paced with all the action, and physicality, you expect to see in a hockey game only without the ice and the padding.
If you haven’t already, I highly suggest you check out a few matches on the Handball World YouTube page. You will not regret it.

Fuchse Berlin (+225) Over Flensburg
Fuchse Berlin is currently 10-2-2 this season and is second overall in league standing. They are on an eight-game unbeaten streak and haven’t lost a match in over a month heading into Monday’s matchup.
The Foxes boast three goal scorers in the top 10 in the league. Danish handballer Mathias Gidsel has scored on 105 of his 133 shots this season and is the third-leading scorer in the league. German national Tim Freihöfer has the sixth-highest goal tally this year, while Lasse Bredekjaer Andersson is right behind him in seventh.
Flensburg has won the last two head-to-head meetings against Berlin. This includes an impressive 36-31 showing in the EHF European League Finals in May. However, SGFH has lost two of its last three matches. The last of which came at the hands of seventh place Rhein-Neckar.
This game will be close, but you can still take Fuchse Berlin +1.5 at +100 to increase your profit on this match.
MT Melsungen (+105) Over Gummersbach
Melsungen sits atop the standings this season with 12 wins and only two losses. They are on a three game win streak heading into Monday’s contest.
The real edge here comes from the fact that Gummersbach has only beaten Melsungen once in its last nine attempts in Bundesliga play. That streak extends to one win in twelve matches including three contests in Club Friendly competitions.
Gummersbach enters this match having lost two of their last three matches. They are in eighth place with 7 wins, 4 losses, and 2 ties. Their last two losses have come against two other top five teams.
Melsungen should be a much heavier favorite here so getting them at plus money is a great value.
