Captain
Charles Leclerc $14,700
Ferrari is on their home track and Charles Leclerc will look to add to their trophy case. Leclerc has made sx career starts at Monza and has a 6.7 average finishing position in Italy. He has started on the pole twice in his career here. In 2019, he started first and finished first and finished first leading 45 of 53 laps along the way. Overall, four of his six starts on this track have been fourth or better. He has also led 65 laps on this track as well.
The Monégasque driver has an average finish of 5.5 over his 15 starts this season. He has seven podium finishes including two of his last three races. He notched a win at his home track in Monte Carlo, taking home the checkered flag at the Monaco Grand Prix earlier this year. Leclerc is averaging 16.4 fantasy points per race which is the third most on the gird this year.
Driver
Sergio Perez $7,000
It certainly hasn’t been the season Red Bull had hoped for from Sergio Perez so far this year. The Mexican driver has an average finish of 7.6 place this season which is off the pace from his 5.9 average finish last season. However, he did start the season with four podium finishes in his first five races so you know the potential is there for him to score you a decent chunk of points.
Perez has three straight top 6 finishes on this track as a Red Bull driver including a runner up finish in last season’s race. He is far cheaper than both of the McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari drivers. This offers the most return value should he find his way back up to the podium this week.
